    PVS Ramadan Donation Challenge

    Ramadan Mubarak! Our PVS Immigration Reform Group recently partnered with ICNA Relief and NABIC to distribute zakat eligible food boxes which include 65 lbs worth of food items to give to the needy in Memphis. In order to raise money for the boxes, our group has come up with a challenge for the students: a competition among the classes from 3rd to 12th grades to see which class can raise the most money.     PVS Students Participate in CBU Engineering Workshop

    In March, a group of Pleasant View School high school students enrolled in the Christian Brothers University’s Packaging Engineering workshop conducted by Dr. Pong Malasri. Dr. Malasari is a registered professional engineer in the State of Tennessee and engineering professor at CBU.     Celebrating Herstory: PVS Hosts Virtual Career Fair

    PVS hosted its second annual career fair in March. The “Celebrating Herstory: Virtual Career Fair'' took place from March 29 -31, marking the end of Women’s History Month. The event featured diverse, trailblazing female professionals from different professional backgrounds, such as business, medicine, psychology, photography, law and government.     PVS Student Won First Place in Shelby County Science Fair

    Pleasant View School Junior, Naisha Chowdhury, won first place in the Memphis-Shelby County Science and Engineering Fair for her project on regenerative medicine and noninvasive treatment plans for tissue and bone regeneration. She says, “My personal interest was applying this treatment plan for dental purposes and so my research has focused on that application.” She has been working on this project for over two years and has been working closely with a UofM professor and joi
