    نشأت مدرسة بليزنت فيو على أسس تربوية إسلامية حيث أنها وإضافة للتعليم تتبنى منهجا تربويا اسلاميا، فمن أهداف المدرسة ترسيخ القيم والمبادئ الاسلامية في عقول الطلاب. مدرسة بليزنت ڤيو ليست فقط مجرد مدرسة بل هي مجتمع إسلامي مصغر، إذ أنها مساحة لتعلم وممارسة العديد من الشعائر الدينية في بلد ـ الولايات المتحدة- يواجه فيه المسلمون تحديات ثقافية وذلك بسبب تنوع الأديان والعادات والتقاليد. ولعلّ تخصيص أوقات لأداء الصلوات من أهمّ ما تعمل به المدرسة، حيث يسمح للطلاب الذهاب إلى أماكن ا

    بعد دراسة متأنية وبعد الأخذ في الاعتبار العديد من تدابير السلامة، بدأت مدرسة بلزنت فيو تقديم برنامج تعليمي اختياري وجاهي داخل المدرسة. ففي منتصف شهر فبراير الماضي أتاحت المدرسة لجميع طلاب المرحلة الابتدائية خيار الانتظام داخل المدرسة. وهذا البرنامج قد بدأ فعليا في الأول من مارس حيث تبدأ الحصص من الساعة الثامنة صباحًا وتنتهي عند الواحدة ظهرا.واختار ما مجموعه ثلاثة وثمانون طالبًا الالتحاق بالبرنامج في المقابل فضّل 99 طالبًا الاستمرار في برنامج التعلم عن بُعد. اعتمدت المدرسة

    American Muslim Icon: PVS High School and Middle School Students win Math and Quran Competition

The competition includes Athan, Art, Math, Quran, Nasheed, and Speech. Students can participate in any or all of the competitions. This year was the third annual competition.     Science Lab Virtual Field Trips

    With virtual schooling, field trips have to take on a new form. Teachers have found alternatives for students to have fun while learning via Zoom. Ms. Shazia Hangora, the science lab teacher, organized a virtual field trip for 2nd grade in January. The Pink Palace hosted a virtual field trip and all students had to do was participate in class. The field trip had different activities in chemistry and science. The sessions were 45 minutes long and included worksheets and demos

    PVS NHD Regional Winners

    On March 2, 2021, the National History Day (NHD) West Tennessee Regional Winners were announced, and once again Pleasant View School students from 6th-12th grade excelled in every category. Pleasant View School took home first place in 7 of 16 different categories across the senior and junior divisions, and placed in 12 categories overall with 20 winning projects out of a total of 48 1st-3rd place winners. 1st and 2nd place winners in each category advance to the NHD State L

    PVS Criminal Justice Group attends UofM Law Advocacy Camp

    For the second consecutive year, on February 13, 2021, the PVS Criminal Justice Advocacy Group attended the annual Advocacy Camp organized by the University of Memphis Law School. Last year, students from the Criminal Justice group attended the camp at the Humphrey Law School campus and had a great experience learning about diversity, individual rights, and approaches to civil cases.
